Microsoft recently released a backwards compatibility update to add software emulators for Ghost Recon, Ghost Recon 2, Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike, Rainbow Six 3, Rainbow Six 3 Black Arrow, Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. While all is great that they are still adding compatibility, but they broke Halo 2 by doing so. Halo 2 would only play in the standard 4x3 TV dimensions, not the 16x9 letterbox

Microsoft Flaw Being Sold On eBay

A hacker recently claimed to have a flaw for Microsoft Office Excel that would exploit a user's computer. This flaw was put on eBay to be sold and until Thursday night was up to $60 until eBay decided to pull it. Microsoft says that they are aware of the flaw and are working at a solution for it. I guess there always has to be something entertaining on eBay.

The future continuously looks bright for the cell phone advancements. The most recent concept is allowing the camera in a cell phone to detect cancer. It would us an infrared camera and some specialized software on the phone to begin the detection process. You simply have to take a picture of yourself and send it to the lab to be analyzed, according to Dr. Yaniv who is the intellect behind this idea.

OnStar Unintentionally Saves Some Lives

OnStar possibly saved some lives, but not because of what it is supposed to be used for! Two Michigan men were pulled over by police after an OnStar operator notified 911 that the mirror-mounted button in the men?s Cadillac Escalade had been pushed several times without any feedback from the passengers.
