Google Setting Up A Music Service

December 15th, 2005
No Comments Written by Ryan

Google announced today that they will be setting up a music service for their users. It will not be something they they will be running themselves, it will just allow you to search for music and lyrics from other sites. The sites that it will initially include are going to be Amazon.com, Real Rhapsody, eMusic, and iTunes. They will expand their list of stores as time goes on but this will provide them with a sound foundation and a large database to search. You knew it was only a matter of time for them to release some kind of music service, but I am surprised they are not going to do it all themselves.
