Are you itching to get your hands on the Windows Live Messenger to give it a test run? Well, it looks like you might not have any other option other than paying for it on eBay. It looks like it could run you from $8 all the way to $40 but sometimes you have to pay to be a die-hard beta tester (even though you shouldn’t have to). Is Microsoft really allowing people to sell these on eBay? You bet they are, and the funny thing is that they are actually directing you there if you really want to test the beta version NOW:

“If you must get an invite and you don’t mind spending some money on it check out the auctions here,” says the Live Messenger team. “The Messenger team has a pool going to guess what the highest selling point will be.”
