Rumors are that Microsoft has offered to buy Yahoo! for $80 billion but it was rejected because it was not enough money. The offer was rejected despite it being well over what Yahoo! is worth. Will Microsoft up their offer? I wouldn't doubt it because they are going to try and dominate both the software and online industry. We'll have to wait to see what this year will bring us.

News is that Google will be releasing a computer, called a Google Cube, that they hope Wal-Mart will sell for them. It will be a very low-cost computer because it will not be running Microsoft Windows, which will obviously lower the cost! I could only imagine what a Google Operating System would bring us.
