Adobe Photoshop Prevents Making Counterfeit Money

I have never tried this before so I cannot vouch for the truthfulness behind it, but apparently Adobe Photoshop will recognize currency and prevent the user from being able to manipulate it. This makes perfect sense because of the power of Photoshop and the number of professional editors that use Photoshop. It will also recognize credit cards and Euro notes.

ThePirateBay.org Upgrading Its Servers With Funds From eBay

The current host of the Windows Vista 5270 Torrent, ThePirateBay.org, will be upgrading its servers in order to meet the increasing demand for torrent files. How are they going to afford to do this $12,000 upgrade? They are selling themselves, actually renting themselves out for a night, on eBay.

Sony Cybershot DSC-T9 Review From PC Magazine

PC Magazine has finished the Sony Cybershot DSC-T9 review today. They gave it 3.5/5 which is a good rating. I currently own the DSC-T5 and the H1 cameras by Sony and both are really great. I just received the Sony H1 a few days ago so I will have my own personal review of this camera up as soon as I have used it more.

GMail Adding A Delete Button To Your Inbox

Reports from some GMail users say that Google is adding a 'Delete' button to some accounts. This has been one of the most awaited feature in GMail and now the time has come. The only reason I currently have a Delete button is because of a Firefox Extension that I use, but it will be nice to know I will have this button wherever I go.

Keep Your Body Warm Via USB

Now women everywhere will be making the move to high tech devices, not because of productivity but because of warmth! Ranging from heated fingerless gloves to heated foot slippers. Why stop there, you might as well splurge and get the coffee heating pad! This would be funny to see someone using all of this at the same time (especially in an office). I wonder if these are USB 2.0 devices.

Goodbye Windows Blackcomb, Hello Vienna!

Yes, that is right, the Windows that is in the far far future could be named Vienna now. The previous name was Blackcomb until Robert Scoble, a 'reporter' for Microsoft, stated that the name is being changed to Vienna. If this is true then I think Microsoft has lost their mind. Names like Whistler, Longhorn, and Blackcomb were all cool, but Vienna? Who are we, Oscar Meyer?

Aliph Brings VoIP To A Whole New Level

This is the Jawbone PC Edition headset that is going to revolutionize VoIP communications. It has military-grade audio processing and will eliminate almost all background noise to allow for crisp and clean calls. This would be very important for those having to talk while they are in the airport or at a cafe where background noise is inevitable.

AskMeNow Service A Good 411 Replacement

The AskMeNow service that has been released could be a good alternative to using 411. I know on my cell phone using 411 costs $1.25, and with Google Mobile I haven't had to use 411. Now there may be a nicer alternative if I don't want to use text messaging. AskMeNow uses automated menus and can get information like sports scores, stock quotes, directions, and more.

Google Moving Into Radio Advertising

It looks like Google will be taking its AdSense to a whole new level. They recently announced the move into radio advertising for $102 million with plans to incorporate the AdSense program right into the radio advertising. The company that Google is buying is dMarc and the deal should be done by the end of the first quarter this year. I wonder how Google is going to keep track of the 'clicks'.

Internet Explorer 7 Taking On More Firefox Features

It appears that Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) is going to be taking on even more of the popular features that can be found in Firefox. First, the big deal was Internet Explorer getting tabs. Then it was IE using Firefox's RSS icon to 'create less confusion for users'. Now, they are going to all users to delete the browser's history in a more sophisticated and effective way.
