Microsoft Updates Internet Explorer 7 Today

Microsoft just a short while ago updated Internet Explorer 7 and it is titled “Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview”. The build number is 5335 and the most recent build available until now was 5299. I am sure there are just a bunch of minor fixes in this build and it weighs in at 11.2MB! Jump over and get it if you are an Internet Explorer fan otherwise you can hang out and wait for the official release of Firefox 2 Alpha 1 tomorrow.

Also, if you already have IE7 installed then you will be forced to uninstall it before you can install this version. If you go to the Add/Remove Programs in your Control Panel to uninstall it then make sure you to check the box that says “Show Updates” otherwise you will never see the IE7 option to uninstall.

For those people not running a genuine copy of Windows then you might be able to use these instructions to install this build. I did not test it with those instructions so once someone has tested it then please post here letting us know if it works.
