Will iTunes Also Suffer The Wrath Of Google?


Rumors are fluttering about Google starting up an online music store that will compete with iTunes. Google has been conquering the search portal world for quite some time, and now they could be moving into other realms. Caris & Company noticed that Google met with some people from the music industry. Google’s excuse for the meeting wasn’t very clever, stating that the purpose of the meeting was purely networking. Yeah right, and that is equivalent to someone applying for a job at Google just for “networking”.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Google offered some discounts for those people that use Google’s new payment service that is being tested. That way they can kill two birds with one stone: PayPal and iTunes!
