The people over at the OSx86 Forums have gotten Microsoft’s newest operating system, Windows Vista, to run on a Mac using Boot Camp.
If you aren’t familiar with Boot Camp then here is a brief overview. Boot Camp was recently released by Apple to allow Mac users to install Windows XP. If you use Boot Camp then you don’t have to worry about finding the drivers because Boot Camp takes care of all of that for you. This takes a lot of headaches away for people who need two computers for both operating systems.
So why is installing Vista on this so special? Well, there are some tricks and loops to jump through in order to get it to work. The driver CD that Boot Camp has you make for the XP installation does not work for the Vista installation. Also, to install Vista you will have to completely erase the hard drive! So you can’t dual boot Vista and Mac OS (YET!).
It is only a matter of time, and probably just a few weeks before a dual boot solution is available. If you can’t wait that long then you can either wipe your hard drive and use only Vista or find the dual boot solution yourself

This is like insulting your mom or dad after Christmas or left your future wife one day before the wedding. Installing windows on Mac is like wearing a Ted nuggent T-shirt with a Tuxedo or like have installed a cow-dress to your Mercedes seats or like drinking bud light with pancakes or eating lobster with mapel syrup. it is just sick and somebody should shoot you right away.
It does seem kinda ironic, but a lot of my Mac friends always have Windows applications that they want to run and this prevents them from having to buy another computer. So it does seem sick but makes sense.
