Microsoft now has plans on producing a cooler (as in less heat dissipation) Xbox 360 by next year. They will do this by upgrading the CPU using a 65-nanometer manufacturing technique which will lower the heat that the Xbox releases. Will it fix the overheating issue? They don’t actually say that it will fix the overheating issue but state that it will produce less heat.
I do think that this may help the overheating issue but probably not enough to prevent these complaints on the system. I guess only time will tell.
