Google Denies GoodMail Deal For GMail

Google has made one of the smartest moves that they probably could have by denying any kind of deal with GoodMail. GoodMail has been trying to strike up deals with major email companies like AOL and Yahoo. GoodMail allows companies (what I call spammers) to pay to ensure that their email will make it to the user’s inbox (bypassing any spam filters).

Thank goodness that Google isn’t following other companies and implementing the GoodMail services. This could force even more people to join GMail. Nice job Google!

Thank you for printing that Google will have nothing to do with “GoodMail”, I agree that it is a very bad concept which should be ignored out of existence.

No problem, I could only imagine how many people would be upset if Google compromised the quality of their spam filters. Thank goodness they have some smart people working for them, unlike AOL and Yahoo!
