Yes, it was just yesterday that the redesign competition started for SlashDot but the submissions are already starting to roll in. There are currently four of them that have been posted and they have had about 15 real submissions. The design that is pictured above is the only one that has a real shot in my opinion. I think that Design 1 is very well laid out and has many similarities with their current design, which is what they want. The abundance of rounded corners help make it a very visually appealing site. I can’t wait to see what else people come up with.
