Microsoft Releases MapPoint 2006

Microsoft has finally released the next version of its business mapping software: MapPoint 2006. This release is important because it finally has built-in GPS capabilities for real-time tracking and it also has a few other nifty features. One of those features being Wi-Fi positioning and another is better offline geographic data.

Yahoo Tech Launched In Hopes To Compete With CNet

It appears that Yahoo Tech has been launched and they are trying to compete with CNet. They offer reviews of products, how-to guides, and have a staff on hand in hopes to answer your questions. After browsing through the site initially I didn't see anything that really impressed me. I very quickly got annoyed with the flash animations which seemed to add too much movement to the screen.

Google Testing Another Search Results Page

About two weeks ago a new search results page was uncovered that Google had been testing. Now, it is time to reveal another one. This search results screen doesn't show nearly as much information about a given site but it could greatly help your traffic to your site if you are the number one search result.
