Microsoft has finally released the next version of its business mapping software: MapPoint 2006. This release is important because it finally has built-in GPS capabilities for real-time tracking and it also has a few other nifty features. One of those features being Wi-Fi positioning and another is better offline geographic data.
They are offering two versions of the software: without a GPS receiver for $299 and with a GPS receiver for $349. If you don’t already have a GPS receiver then the $349 bundle is a pretty good deal.
