It looks like the Firefox 2.0 code freeze has now taken place and the frozen builds are available on the Mozilla FTP. This build should be very similar to the one that gets released on May 9 so if you are impatient then go ahead and check out this build. New features that I have found so far is the spell checking capabilities and new Add-Ons Manager. If you notice anything else please feel free to let me know.
The downloads of these builds are listed below but they are NOT THE OFFICIAL ALPHA 2 BUILDS (those will be out on May 9) but should be very close to the official build.
Windows Installer via Mozilla FTP
Windows ZIP via Mozilla FTP

it is not a %100 freeze as there is still checkins being landed. Mostly only serious regressions are fixed during the freeze (leaks/crashes/security). Easily more than a dozen checkins happend since you posted this and now.
Again your linking to Tinderbox ,, why?
use

What the Tinderbox is as it is not for casual Firefox users.

You shouldn’t link to just the Windows builds.

Ok now the Bon Echo 2.0 alpha 2 is coming. There has been some oh 60 or so checkins to tothe Mozilla_1_8 Branch since you posted saying a hourly Tinderbox build should be close to the Alpha 2 release when that is not the case.
There was a restore session before but sadly it um caused crashes left clicking links with target=_blank. It was nice though as you had the option to resume where you left off when restarted and still be logged on forum and tabs be as if you never had a crash in first place.
