Is Google Getting Closer To Releasing Measure Map Statistics?


 

It looks like Google is getting closer to launching their statistics service for blogs. Yes, Google does already have Google Analytics but it has a bunch of statistics in it that bloggers don’t really need. That is where Measure Map comes into play. It is a light-weight statistics service that would provide bloggers with all the information they need, but leaving out the unnecessary things.

It was recently noticed that measuremap.net and measuremap.org were set to point to the Google Homepage. This probably means that Google is inching a little closer to releasing it to the public.

This also reminds me of Google buying Writely. I wonder what ever happened with that?
