Opera 9 Beta 2 has now been released. It has significant improvements in stability and in the widgets since the previous Beta 1. I am happy that they got rid of the faded screen that the widgets use to always appear on.
Overall, I having been running this version for a little while now and it is pretty much a lot of under-the-hood work that you won’t visually notice. However, I do notice that Beta 2 runs smoother and quicker than Beta 1, so it is definitely worth the upgrade. Check out the release notes below if you want to know everything that is new in Beta 2.
