It looks like Google is stepping up to the plate again and this time it's because they released Picasa for Linux. Picasa is Google's photo editing tool that seems to be slowly gaining popularity. It is easy to use and lets you perform almost everything the average user would want to do to a photo.

Sony is offering FREE software to help you recover lost or damaged files on Sony Memory Sticks. The software, called Memory Stick Data Rescue Service, is a great addition to your computer and may prevent a few heart attacks.

It looks like Microsoft is claiming that Office 2007 Beta 2 has received over 200,000 downloads.

Yahoo has joined up with eBay in hopes to knock Google and MSN out of the shopping ring. eBay was apparently get worried with Google's free classified services and their payment service (a future PayPal competitor) that is currently being tested. They will offer a co-branded version of the eBay toolbar for Yahoo customers.
