Yahoo Mail Beta Rolls Out Upgrades

Yahoo Mail Beta users are going to be getting some much-needed upgrades. They will be rolling out the upgrades to users in waves so if you don’t see the new features then don’t go crazy.

Here is a quick overview of the new features:

  • Messages load faster
  • Spell Check enhanced and now works with Firefox
  • Compatible with IE7
  • They removed the animated ads to calm things down a little
  • Expandable/Collapsible folders
  • New contacts layout
  • Select multiple messages using Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click options (they handle just like they do on your PC in Windows Explorer).

There are also more upgrades that I didn’t mention so make sure to read the source below. If you haven’t been invited to join Yahoo Mail Beta then follow these instructions to learn how you can try it.
