Microsoft will be releasing 12 patches this Tuesday to fix some flaws in various software. Nine of the patches are going to be for Windows, two are for Office, and one is for Exchange. This is quite a big list of patches!

Two of the updates are critical (one for Windows and one for Office) and the patches will change the way Internet Explorer handles

Check out the new screenshots of Live.com, Microsofts personalized homepage. It appears as though they have been working on spicing up the user interface.

While the changes are some nice eye candy, hopefully we won't see any unpleasant side effects. The most prominant side effect I can think of would be slower loading times, especially for those plagued with dial-up connections.

This latest update will contact Microsoft regarding the authenticity of your Window's machine. If it is found to be pirated, they will deny you critical updates.
