Everyone gets frustrated at some point but wouldn’t it be nice if you could get use out of smacking your Macbook. Medallia has developed a patch that will allow you to switch programs by tapping the side of the Macbook.

I know it sounds crazy but it is actually a clever idea that makes use of the features you pay for in your Macbook. The accelerometer inside the laptop is what detects the sudden movement changes and then triggers an event, which in this case is switching programs.

Some people have said that the instructions aren’t very clear so there are other sites that have written up more step-by-step instructions that should be easier to follow. I don’t have a Macbook to test this out on but there are a lot of people out there that have successfully gotten it installed.
