The NEW Digg version 3 was just launched about 30 minutes ago. I really like the new interface and they constantly display statistics on the page like how many articles your friends have dugg.
The other great thing is being able to fully customize the settings and select the specific categories that you wish to receive news on. I have even unchecked some categories that were displayed before when Digg was only a technology site. This way the articles I receive are exactly what I want.
There was only one thing that I was surprised not to see in this release. I would have thought that they would have made the page to fit your entire browser width. This would fully utilize the screen space that many widescreen laptop users have. That is just a very small thing that would have probably been nice but it is a great redesign overall.
