Microsoft has decided to let users remove or disable the WGA notifications, but they didn't make it easy! They could have made some simple tool that you could download or even a patch, but no they make you go through and do the dirty work.

Mac users can rejoice because Yahoo Messenger 3.0 Beta 1 has finally been released! Besides for the new look it also has Avatars, sounds, and display images. In addition to those features you will soon be able to chat with your friends that are using Windows Live Messenger.

Google has released an Account Authentication service which is very similar to Microsoft's Passport service. Google Reader has finally gotten some features that it has needed for a long time. There is now a new Settings page that allows you to manage your subscriptions. Using the new Settings page you can delete subscriptions in bulk and you can even rename a subscription.

NetZero has released a voicemail service called PrivatePhone. This free service will give you a local phone number that has a voicemail capable of holding 10 messages. You can then hand out this phone number to people instead of giving out your real phone number. This is supposed to be a great solution for those people publishing their phone numbers in locations like the classified ads.

Dell has unveiled the new Wireless 5700 Mobile Broadband ExpressCard. The ExpressCard operates on the Verizon EVDO network which boasts speeds of 400 - 700 kbps and is capable of bursts up to 2 Mbps! Having speeds like that on-the-go is like never leaving the office.

It looks like there is a report that Google has started to test (or possibly roll out) a new Accounts page. I have only heard of this one person receiving this new page so we aren't quite sure if this is a Photoshop job, a testing page, or something they are slowly starting to roll out and no one has noticed yet. Mozilla has announced that they are pushing the Firefox 2.0 Beta 1 code freeze back to July 5 and the ship date back to July 11. The ship date was expected to be July 6 so this is about a 1-week delay.
