uTorrent 1.6 was just released yesterday and it is faster than ever before. The file rings in at only 170K so if you are looking for a small, but speedy BitTorrent downloader then you have to look no further. Many people are fooled by the size but you will be astounded by how many features it has. Here are the prominent changes for this release:

If you have been wondering how fast your Internet is then this speed test is what you need. The results above were not very accurate for me (I typically get 4000kbps for my download) but it displays a nice graphical speedometer for a little eye candy.
