A Transparent Laptop Screen?

Wouldn't it be cool if you could see through your laptop? There is a video of a user who appears to have accomplished this with their laptop screen. While this is obviously a "hoax" it is still pretty cool to see. The person must have hooked a camera up to the back side of the laptop and have the live image displayed on desktop of the computer. I think it is pretty cool.

9 Screenshots Of Firefox 2.0’s New Preferences

When I was in the Firefox Build's forum today I noticed that they are looking for testers to try out the new Firefox Preferences. They currently only have it implemented on the Trunk build because it isn't exactly complete. Things like the new feed reader preferences are not adjustable in this build yet.

$1.5 Million For A Bed

This bed is truly amazing because it can levitate in midair using magnets which sounds simple enough. However, it is not quite that easy and it took Architect Janjaap Ruijssenaars 6 years to develop this bed that will run you $1.5 million. That may be out of your price range by a little bit so Ruijssenaars made the same bed that is scaled to 1/5th the normal size and that only costs $146,000.

While this is great and has some good improvements it is still disappointing that it only supports PC synchronizing via USB cable, Bluetooth, or infrared connection. Back in ActiveSync 3.8 you could synchronize using Wi-Fi or a LAN as well.

New Non-Aero Windows Vista Theme A Disappointment

It looks like the people over at The Hive managed to scrounge up a screenshot of the new non-Aero Windows Vista Theme. When I had heard that Microsoft had been working on a new theme I was expecting to see more than just a color change. I thought that they would have made it look more like the Aero theme just without the glass effect to it. Well, apparently I was way off key.

CyberNet News Is Back Online…And Better Than Ever

Hopefully some of you were able to receive our message that we were performing some sudden maintenance to the site. We were down for the past few days because we were switching hosting providers and we also had to transfer our domain (and what a pain that was).

CyberNotes: How To Schedule Your Computer To Shutdown And More

Each day at 12:00AM I have my desktop computer in my house scheduled to backup three different laptops. I chose this time because "normally" I am in bed but I hate leaving my computer on.
