eBay Denies Users The Ability To Use Google Checkout

It looks like eBay has now done everything that they can to prevent Google from stepping onto their turf. Just yesterday eBay added the Google Checkout system in their Acceptable Payments Policy terms under "Payment Services not permitted on eBay." If you violate the policy you could get your eBay account suspended.

Another Big Patch Tuesday For Microsoft

Microsoft had a large set of patches that it released in June (totaling 12) and they have another 7 patches this month. These patches will be released next Tuesday and four of the patches will be for Windows. The other three patches are going to be for Microsoft Office and sources expect two of those Office patches to be for Excel.

Windows Vista Beta 2 Update Available

Microsoft has released an update for Windows Vista Beta 2 (x86 and x64) that will "fix internet connectivity issues with 3rd party routing hardware". It isn't very often that Microsoft releases updates for Beta software so this one must have been a pretty popular issue. Now if only they could tackle the horrible battery life I have talked about when using Vista on my laptop.
