
WinFuture.de has now answered a question that I had been wondering: “What is the taskbar going to look like in the new Vista theme?” They provided the answer with a set of screenshots for Windows Vista build 5466. The screenshot above is of the new Vista theme and as you can see they haven’t changed the taskbar at all! I hope that this is just something they haven’t gotten around to because a black taskbar and light-blue window borders don’t mesh well in my opinion.
Besides for the new theme integration there was not much else that I noticed new in the build since 5456 was released to testers. This is just another step closer to Microsoft making the first Release Candidate available.

It’s 5466 the Windows Vista msft was going to release this week?
The exact version number is currently not known, but 5466 is the last build that we have seen screenshots for. We will probably find out soon though.
