As expected, Windows Live Gallery was made available online yesterday, July 24th. The site is designed to show extensions and gadgets to enhance your Windows Live experience. It includes new additions that have not been seen before on Microsoft Gadgets which was used previously for the live.com gadgets.
The site is broken down into 7 categories: Toolbar, Search Macros, Desktop Search, Developer Center, Gadgets, and Blogs. This is considered to be a “one-stop-shop” for finding everything you’d need. There is a search feature to help you find what you’re looking for, and if you can’t find it, you can create it yourself and upload it to the gallery.
For those wanting to keep up with the latest additions to the gallery, they can subscribe to the RSS feed. Within the next weeks and months, I’m sure all of these categories will be filling up with all sorts of extensions and gadgets to enhance the Live experience as all the Live features become more well known and wide spread.
