We knew the release of Firefox 1.5.0.6 would be soon and it looks like the release candidate builds have made their way to the Mozilla FTP. The issue with the release of 1.5.0.5 was that some sites would not play the WMV correctly even when the Windows Media Player Plug-in was installed. This was seen to be a critical error which resulted in a quick fix.
It took about 2 days for a working patch to surface after they were told about the error. Now they are looking for testers to make sure that this build will go over smoothly and won’t have to release a new version in another week!
