RARHost Will Host Your RAR files For Free

I think one word sums this all up...WOW! RARHost.com (just released today) is a file sharing site much like RapidShare is, but all of the files have to be in RAR format. So you are probably wondering "how this is any better if it only accepts RAR files?"

Mustang Computer Case Mod

As you may already know we are really into case mods and it doesn't matter if they are for the computer or for your Xbox 360. This one really caught our attention when we saw the comparison of the computer case to the car it was modeled after.

Another Speed Test To Check Your Internet Speed

I love to know how fast I actually surf the Internet just to make sure I am getting what I pay for. I just tried out SpeedTest.net after someone had reported it on Digg and I think this is my new favorite test. Of course, it does have the speedometer-like layout but it also has some features I have not found anywhere else.

TheHotFix.net Was Hacked

Last night (or early this morning) I noticed that TheHotFix.net had been hacked. If you haven't heard of the site before then it may be for the better. They often post a lot of information on warez software such as Torrent links to the most  recent Vista builds.

Google Using GMail Avatars For Face Recognition

It was pretty cool when GMail got the avatar capability but is there really a different motive for the feature? The Google Operating System blog is speculating that Google could use the large database of images for their face recognition software that they are supposed to be working on.

Screenshot Of The Eset Security Suite (NOD32 v3)

I have been addicted to using Eset's NOD32 Antivirus for a long time. It has never let anything through (that I know of :) ) and uses so few resources that I hardly even know it is running. I was browsing their beta forum when I noticed that someone had posted a screenshot of what NOD32 v3 (version 3) is going to look like.

CyberWare: Firefox Extension To Manage Multiple GMail Accounts

Most of the people that I know don't have just one GMail account because we need one for friends, family, spam, subscriptions, orders, and I am sure the list continues on and on, right? I actually have 8 different GMail accounts along with the multiple email addresses that we have Google for hosting the CyberNet News email.

Kororaa Lets You Immediately Use XGL

I had been wanting to play with the new XGL with all of the videos (like this one and this one) that I had seen lately but sometimes the steps required seemed a little  daunting. Kororaa made it a piece of cake for me to try it out on my Dell m140 laptop that just has cheap Intel graphics in it. There was ZERO configuration for me.

CyberNotes: $125,000 Xbox 360 Chopper

If you're an Xbox enthusiast and a chopper fan, you'd probably have a hard time keeping your hands off of a custom built Xbox 360 Chopper worth $125,000. Should I mention that you could have had a chance at winning the lime-green bike? Gamestop Corp.
