Firefox 2 Beta 2 has already been delayed as most of us know, and now it looks like that delay has rippled through to the other milestones. Here is the most recent schedule for the upcoming Firefox builds:
- Firefox 2.0 Beta 2 - August 23
- Firefox 2.0 RC1 - September 19
- Firefox 2.0 RC2 - October 2
- Firefox 2.0 RC3 - October 11
- Firefox 2.0 Final - October 24
The two-week delay of Firefox 2 Beta 2 appears to have pushed back the final release nearly one month. Even though it is disappointing to hear this I am glad that they are taking their time to ensure that this is a quality release.

Ryan, I want to work for you!
This isn’t exactly my full time job…yet
We are trying to see how much we can increase the number of readers we have so that this will hopefully turn into our full time job. Someday we hope to be able to hire other people to help us with this.
It is more dedicated readers like you Matt that we are looking for.

Hey, I’m dedicated too
I just haven’t commented as much since you started publishing the entire articles on your feed.
Anyway, I am anxiously awaiting the release of Beta 2 - I’ll probably switch it to my regular browser, as long as I can get Tab Mix Plus for it.
We haven’t forgotten about you inferno_str1ke! I think you were one of our first people that started commenting on several articles early on.
I think we made the right decision to publish the full feed because I like when other sites do that. Hopefully we’ll find ways to lasso you back into commenting more!
You can already get the developer version of Tab Mix Plus if you want it to be compatible with the latest release of Firefox 2. I have had very few problems with it.
Thanks for reading our CyberNet!

Yeh, I like commenting. I’d do trackbacks more, but my blog doesn’t use Wordpress, it uses a system I’m calling 1-Log (which will be available on public release soon by the way) and I haven’t yet learnt how to program pinging scripts.
