Okay, I use WindowBlinds on one of my computers and up until now I have used the Windows Vista theme. Novum OS is what I am using now and it has to be the coolest theme that I have ever seen for a computer!

It looks like AllPeers is going to be opening their doors later tonight so that the whole world can experience the joy of private file sharing. I was able to get my hands on an invitation last week and AllPeers is pretty nice. The interface was very well designed and I received very good transfer speeds.
Many of us rely heavily on Microsoft word correcting our mistakes but you should be happy that there is no option that would let Word automatically correct all misspellings.
A long time ago I used to use ObjectDock which gave me that Mac-like dock to place all of my shortcuts. I must have decided not to install the software again after reformatting my computer at some point. I haven't really missed it too much but after seeing RocketDock I decided to give this a try.

A few days ago big news hit that Microsoft wants to help Open Source developers, such as Mozilla, make their applications compatible with Vista. It looks like the Microsoft Open Source team had troubles contacting Mozilla through email so they decided to use the Mozilla Developer's thread in Google Groups instead. Now we all get to see it. :)

Ever since Google Calendar was released I couldn't wait for a Google Calendar application to appear. It looks like that time has come with the release Calgoo. This isn't a final release and they actually consider it a "First Draft" which could mean a variety of things, but I would guess pre-alpha.
MSBlog got creative and it appears that they found what could be the download links for Windows Vista RC1. Unfortunately the links, right now, just redirect you to a page that says "" Here are what the download links should be:

New Web browsers seem to popping up left and right lately. Internet Explorer 7 is on the home stretch which means all of the IE-based Web browsers need to beef things up to make sure they don't get outdone by the Microsoft team. A few weeks ago we took a glimpse at the upcoming Avant Browser 11 and now Maxthon seems to be quietly working on version 2.
If you have used Windows Vista then maybe you have noticed how great the search feature is. I know I have and it looks like the Microsoft search team is really thinking with their heads.
Paul Thurrott is at it again and this time he got word from Microsoft that the final release of Windows Vista is still on schedule. That means businesses will receive their version of Vista in November while consumers will have to wait until January.

The Google Talk Blog posted today about how they listen when we request a feature. They proved that when they recently released a new version of Google Talk that incorporated sending/receiving files and voicemail capability. The most interesting part about the post is when they say "."
When I use Linux I normally choose to use KDE because I like the Start Menu structure a little better. What makes me even happier is that the KDE developers are pondering a redesign of the Start Menu and it should look something like the image to the right.
The first release candidate for Firefox 2 Beta 2 made its appearance the other day which made me think the August 23 release date was plausible. It looks like they are pushing the release back a week, to August 30, to help fine tune some things (probably mostly with the visual refresh).
GMail now makes it easy for you to play those MP3 files without ever leaving your email. As soon as you receive an attachement that is in the MP3 file format you should see a link below it that says "Play." As soon as you press that you'll get a pop-up window and it will start playing the MP3.
Kevin Mitnick is one of the world's most notorious hackers.

The new Azureus 2.5.0.0 has finally emerged and is ready for you to download it. It has been a few months since I have seen even a minor update so this is highly welcomed. Here's what you'll find new in this release:
I am a pretty organized person and I view hundreds of sites each day. Through all of those sites I find several that I will eventually come back to but I don't want to clutter up my bookmarks when I will only view once more. That's where notes come in.
Flock is getting ready to start using word-of-mouth as a way to publicize their new browser. Sure they have already gotten a lot of recognition for their efforts but they want you to start spreading the love even more.

I always seem to be away from my computer when I need to get something off of it. That's how it is supposed to work...when you need something you can't have it. The built-in Remote Desktop in Windows XP does a pretty good job but I often use multiple operating systems throughout the day and I don't want to worry about cross-platform compatibility.
This is one story that I wasn't expecting to see today. BetaNews is reporting that Microsoft has invited the Mozilla developers to come up to Redmond in hopes of making Firefox and Thunderbird fully compatible with Vista.
