When I was looking through the Vista Customer Preview Program (CPP) site I noticed that they had mentioned something about the Technical Refresh (TR) that is supposed to be released soon for Office 2007:

I know, I was just as surprised to see a cell phone company providing something to users for free. I read it twice, no three times, then jogged around the block and took a cold shower. After that I came back to read it again and I don't actually think my eyes are lying:

Google obviously prides themselves because of the amount of data and sites that they index, but what about confidential information? Sure, they don't care as long as these sites give them access to the files. Go ahead, click here to view Google's index of confidential documents.

Microsoft has finally released Expression Web Beta 1 and it is calling your name. Don't you hear it? No? I guess you're a Dreamweaver user then. :)

Microsoft has officially released Windows Vista RC1 to the public. You can either go to their download page if you want to install their download manager or you can download it using your Web browser with these direct links. They apparently aren't allowing people to directly link to the file now so you have to go to the site.

If you haven't heard of the My Dream App Contest then you are probably not a Mac user. This contest was cleverly started with the hopes of bringing someone's dream application to reality. They'll pick out 24 finalists from the 2700+ entries that they have received and here are the first three that they are presenting to us:

It has been about 2-months but Google has finally ended the Google Desktop Gadget Contest. So who was lucky enough to make some money off of their creation?

Firefox is a big topic here at CyberNet News as many of you have probably realized by this point. I do, however, receive emails quite frequently asking why I don't write more about Opera. There are actually two reasons and the main one is that I don't use Opera as my default browser.
