Apple has a big event tomorrow called Showtime and rumors are already starting to fly about what new thing they could bring to the table. One of the most reasonable rumors that I have heard was from TUAW.com who is taking a stab in the dark at a new release of iTunes.
Mozilla continues to try and please the public by releasing even more updates to the default theme that will ship in Firefox 2. They have changed the Refresh button so that it looks more sleek than the previous one and how about that Home icon? I definitely don't think it fits in with the rest but I do love how it stands out.
Windows Vista RC1 is still doing great for me on each machine that I have it installed on. The first machine that I put it on was my desktop computer that was running Vista Pre-RC1 and I decided to perform an upgrade instead of a fresh install. After the 3-hour upgrade had finished I was able to use Vista RC1 completely. I noticed no issues and was pleasantly surprised.

The competition for data storage has now begun because AOL has finally released a free 5GB to their users. Anyone can signup for the service on the Xdrive site but I am sure a lot of people are still going to be skeptical just because the name AOL is attached to it.
Google has been offering the Safe Browsing Firefox extension for quite some time now and it is something that I install with every Firefox installation that I do. It is nice that the extension will no longer be needed in Firefox 2 because the Safe Browsing feature is going to be built-in.
Ben Heckendorn is at it again but this time he is hacking away an Xbox 360. He loves to make things portable and despite the Xbox 360's size and weight he went ahead to see what he could do. The result? A pretty sweet 14-lbs. laptop.
