Bored? Browse The 3D Google Warehouse

Google Warehouse World Trade Center Okay, so when I am bored I start looking for something to do (yes, that happens quite frequently :) ). One thing that I found fun was browsing through Google’s 3D Warehouse for cool buildings or places that have been made with SketchUp. The cool thing is that you don’t need to have SketchUp installed in order to view the models. You can download them straight into Google Earth and view them on the map.

The problem that I ran into was I only saw a browse feature for the top 100 models or the last 100 recently updated models. I was curious how many models there actually were so I searched for every letter in the alphabet at the same time…which returned 12,500+ results.

There are some pretty cool models so you should check them out. Have fun!
