The Ultimate Gamer?

September 18th, 2006

Just when you thought you were a mad gamer because you had a few different systems! The picture above is from Joystiq’s contest and this was the winner who had 32 systems and 21 of them are actually hooked up.

Instead of dumping the cash on a decent TV this gamer decides to put all of his money into video game systems and adding to his collection of games (looks like he has 568 right now). It also looks like he must be a little short on cash because there is no PSP…maybe it is just tucked behind one of his Atari’s. :D

So, who’s up for a little Virtual Boy?

Looks pretty good as a collection - but I think it would be going a bit far to have them hooked up - how would he ever decide what to play?

Wow a blast from the past! :D I had an Atari 2600 and even the Commodore 64 (heck I started out a VIC-20 then went to the Commodore 64 and eventually the Commodore 128).

It would be tough to figure out what to play but I am a big fan of Contra on the NES.

I loved the Contra series. We need that back in the new generation.

Also, my son and I loved the Battletoads series on the Sega Genesis. I believe it was the Genesis anyways.

I wonder what the last system was that Contra was made for. I have it on my PSOne but it is not nearly as cool as the Nintendo version.
