Wow, we all thought it was going to be some kind of cheap coffee but it looks like you can get a 16oz Iced Coffee for “setting Yahoo as your homepage.” I decided to give it a shot so I opened IE7 to do it (didn’t want it to mess with my Firefox homepages). I saw the little advertisement on Yahoo.com that is pictured above so I clicked on it.
I then began navigating through the screens where they ask you for your name, zip code, and a few other things (not your entire address though). Finally, it took me to the page that I could print the coupon off with:
It was pretty clever of them to put my name on it so that it is harder for me to make photocopies. However, I never set my homepage to Yahoo? I went and checked my setting and it was still set to Google! Their system must either be a little flawed or they are just trusting that people will set them as their homepage (yeah, right). Too bad the coupon is only good for today…but there is no Dunkin Donuts within 50 miles of me anyway.

Starbucks would have been more worthwhile
I’m sure Dunkin Donuts was a little cheaper for Yahoo.
I was able to get it just by going to yahoo.com…
Funny, it must not be forcing you to set Y! as your homepage! I already had Y! as my homepage, so I tried changing it just to test Y! and it still printed coupon
I guess Yahoo! is going on the honor system here. This would be AWESOME but I don’t have any Dunkin Donuts near me either. I think it’s more of an east coast thing. I was in the East Coast over the summer and I LOVED those DD Iced Coffees. If there were any here, I’d be getting free iced coffees all day!
Too bad it wasn’t for Starbucks, my neigborhood’s loaded with them!
They actually had the link up by 10PM last night, I guess it was Friday on the east coast. To their credit, Yahoo! was true to their word; too bad it didn’t help me at all
Hmm I could get this coupon after all if I use the computer in the resident’s business center since it has a printer connected to it and I would not have to change the home page. Although I would really like to change the browser away from Internet Exploiter.
This is just silly and has alot of people laughing at Yahoo - even if some of them are enjoying a free coffee. Why does it have ice in it? Shouldn’t coffee be hot?
Because it is iced coffee…a cold drink and easy way to get brain freeze!
