Update: The download links do not work anymore because Microsoft must have reached their download quota for Vista RC2.

Microsoft has just released Windows Vista to testers that have access to Microsoft Connect. Everyone is saying that the public release should be very soon so we just have to sit patiently twiddling our thumbs until Microsoft decides to share the goods with the rest of us. :)

There has been all kinds of buzz around the Internet in the last 24-hours regarding acquisition rumors that Google is going after YouTube for the sum of $1.6 billion. From the sounds of it there is much more than speculation involved but the discussions are still in the very early stages and could end at any time.
Sage is one of the most popular feed readers simply because it integrates directly into Firefox. It's not the most feature abundant feed reader but if you are looking for something simple to use and don't want the extra clutter of another program running then Sage will probably be perfect.
FileZilla is my favorite FTP client and they just released the first beta of version 3. I was looking around to see if I could find a "What's New" list but I came up empty handed. Even when using the program it still seemed just about the same with minor changes here and there.
Wow, Mozilla has placed Firefox 2 RC2 into the releases folder on the FTP and the Release Candidate download page says that they will be posting the links at 3PM PDT. It looks like they are trying to recover some lost time from previous delays by shipping this as soon as possible.

With Google revamping and polishing up Google Reader recently with a new look, some AJAX, and new features, I thought I'd point out a reader that has been around for a little while and uses AJAX technology nicely. Feeds 2.0 strives to give you a more personalized reader which is something that makes them stand out above many others as a truly personalized Web 2.0 RSS Aggregator. Getting an account is free, however they're currently in private beta (plans to go public soon). I sent a request for an account and got my invitation in less than 12 hours, so it appears the private beta isn't all too difficult to get involved with.
