Ubuntu Clips

Video tutorials are one of the easiest ways to figure out how to do something and for many people making the switch to Linux is one of the hardest things to do. So, why not make a bunch of video tutorials for Linux to make things a little easier?

That is exactly why Ubuntu Clips started up. Its goal is to walk people through installing and using Ubuntu so that it has never been easier! You’ll find screencasts on things like copying music to an MP3 player or copying images from a digital camera. Of course you’ll only need those after you have watched the videos on installing Ubuntu.

Now I know that Ubuntu is designed to be “Linux for human beings” but this can definitely help those beginners out there. In fact, I hope that other Linux distributions will see the benefit that doing screencasts has when it comes to adopting new users.
