WebSketch – The Online Drawing Tool

The usefulness of this site is definitely questionable but I think it is a cool concept as to what can be done using Flash and a web browser. Yep, WebSketch is almost a clone of the Microsoft Paint that comes with Windows. Okay, maybe not quite yet but it has several features that I was surprised to see.

It seems inevitable that PC's easily get full of clutter and junk whether it be from the user or from applications that don't properly install/uninstall themselves. I reformat my computer every two months or so just to keep things tidy and running quickly but it doesn't hurt to do some maintenance from time to time.

PhraseExpress is an amazing little free program that you can download for your Windows machine. It will save you so many keystrokes that you will probably be left wondering how you survived without it! It essentially lets you customize a list of phrases that are available to choose from.

Download Opera 9.1 Pre-Release With Fraud Protection

The Opera Desktop Team just posted an early build of Opera 9.1 that has the built-in Fraud Protection implemented. I went ahead and downloaded it to give it a try and it looks pretty nice so far. To test out the fraud protection you can refer to Google's blacklist that I have posted here. Remember that most of the sites in that file are REAL phishing sites so be careful with your information.

Vista Not Going To RTM Next Week But Build 5808 Released?

A few days ago Microsoft said that they aren't going to be sending Windows Vista to RTM (Release To Manufacturing) next week which didn't really come as a shock to me.

Download WinZip 11 Beta That Now Supports RAR

WinZip is finally making a new version available to the public despite it still being in the Beta stage. It definitely took them long enough make WinZip 11 but it will now support RAR archives, well, they only let you extract them.

CyberNotes: ResultR.com – Create Your Own Personal Search Engine

What started out as a high school project has now turned into ResultR.com, a search engine that provides results from a variety of sources (or your favorites) with just one search. It reminds me of DogPile but with a different twist.
