Here’s CyberNet’s Top 6 Coolest (or weirdest for that matter) USB Drives!
- Number 1 - Thumb Drive
How would you like a thumb sticking out of your computer? Or better yet, how would you like to carry around an extra digit in your pocket? The thumbdrive looks pretty realistic, and I can only imagine the pranks that could be pulled with this one.
- Number 2 - Teddy Bear Drive
Just pull the head away from the body and you will have yourself a decapitated USB teddy bear drive. It appears to be more of a homemade drive rather than one you can expect to see anyone selling.
- Number 3 - iDisk Drive
This is certainly one of those things that you’re bound to lose at some point. While small may be convenient, it may be a bit TOO small. It’s small enough to fit in your ear!
- Number 4 - Big Tiki Drive
This 4″ Tiki Drive glows red and illuminates the eyes! It has a hand painted body that will glow green to let you know when the data is flowing at 2.0 speeds. You can buy a 256MB or a 4 GB version.
The USB drives listed above came from FosForGadgets, and Engadget.
- Number 5 - 64GB USB Drive
Alright, it’s not always about what looks cool. Plain and simple is alright too. Over at BuslinkBuy.com they offer a 64GB USB 2.0 drive considered to be the ultimate “storage on the go.” Of course at 64 GB, it will cost you — $4,999.99 to be exact. I can think of a lot of things to do with that kind of money! (They also have a 32GB version).
- Number 6 - Wood USB Drives
If you’re wanting to get in touch with nature, this might do the trick. A company from the Netherlands has stuffed sticks with USB drives. It’s certainly unique with storage ranging from 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB. Source: CrunchGear. Thanks for the tip on this one FFExtensionGuru!

I don’t know which is worse, the Teddy Bear or the thumb! When I started reading this I was going to add a comment regarding my blog entry I did on the Wood USB drives. I totally forgot I had sent y’all a tip on this one. I’ll have to do a follow up on my blog now.
