So you just stole your friends pocket protector and there is only one thing left to do...write a ransom note! You could sit there flipping through pages upon pages of magazine articles looking for letters to use or you could utilize the power of Flickr to do the dirty work!

Here is your week in review with Sunday's Summary! If you missed something, check it out.
Looking for some place to quickly store a few notes? Webnote is just the right thing for that purpose. You can create your own notes page without ever having to register for an account. Once you are on the Webnote homepage you'll notice the "Load" box towards the upper-right corner.
There are all kinds of backpacks that are designed for carrying laptops -- meaning they're padded extra well and they might have a special compartment specifically for the computer. But what about a backpack that takes catering to your tech toys a little further? I did a little searching and came across JanSport's LiveWire line that is more than just your ordinary backpack.
The usefulness of this site is definitely questionable but I think it is a cool concept as to what can be done using Flash and a web browser. Yep, WebSketch is almost a clone of the Microsoft Paint that comes with Windows. Okay, maybe not quite yet but it has several features that I was surprised to see.
It seems inevitable that PC's easily get full of clutter and junk whether it be from the user or from applications that don't properly install/uninstall themselves. I reformat my computer every two months or so just to keep things tidy and running quickly but it doesn't hurt to do some maintenance from time to time.
PhraseExpress is an amazing little free program that you can download for your Windows machine. It will save you so many keystrokes that you will probably be left wondering how you survived without it! It essentially lets you customize a list of phrases that are available to choose from.

The Opera Desktop Team just posted an early build of Opera 9.1 that has the built-in Fraud Protection implemented. I went ahead and downloaded it to give it a try and it looks pretty nice so far. To test out the fraud protection you can refer to Google's blacklist that I have posted here. Remember that most of the sites in that file are REAL phishing sites so be careful with your information.
A few days ago Microsoft said that they aren't going to be sending Windows Vista to RTM (Release To Manufacturing) next week which didn't really come as a shock to me.

WinZip is finally making a new version available to the public despite it still being in the Beta stage. It definitely took them long enough make WinZip 11 but it will now support RAR archives, well, they only let you extract them.
What started out as a high school project has now turned into ResultR.com, a search engine that provides results from a variety of sources (or your favorites) with just one search. It reminds me of DogPile but with a different twist.
You still haven't planned your Firefox 2 Launch Party? Well, what are you waiting for? There are plenty for you to join and partake in that are happening on Halloween weekend.
Adobe didn't want to be left out in the time when everyone is buying everyone so they stepped up and purchased Serious Magic for an undisclosed amount. Actually, this is one of the most logical purchases that I have seen in a long time.
I am a very organized person and I like to have things the way that I want them. That's why I just started using the Firefox extension called Organize Status Bar. It will let you customize the order of anything that appears in your Status Bar...or you can even hide certain things if you don't need them.
When programming I love to keep cheat sheets at my side because I'm surprised at how much I use them. There is no sense memorizing things that you can store on a single sheet of paper that is easily accessible.
Sometimes it is hard to find a great wallpaper especially one that doesn't make you download all kinds of spyware and junk in order to use it. So why not use one of the largest photo sources on the Web...Flickr!
Dan emailed me this link and told me to open it. He didn't say much other than it was a forgery site so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. It was obviously a link to some sort of Google site but in Firefox 2 I was prompted with this:
Both Mozilla and Microsoft will both be releasing their new web browsers in the coming weeks (IE 7 was just released yesterday but won't be available as an Automatic Update for a few weeks) and the thing we have to prepare for the most is incompatible websites.

I was going through the Internet Explorer 7 pages and on the About page they had a link to a video. I was interested in seeing what IE 7 had to offer because the link said:
