The Office 2007 User Interface Bible

The new Office 2007 user interface can be quite overwhelming for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. There is an easy way, however, to see what's new and that is with the Office 2007 UI Bible. Jensen Harris worked on the new interface and he made that post to be a reference to anyone looking for details on the new UI elements.

Want Another Online Game? Motherload Is The Bomb!

This week, for some odd reason, I have been into playing games online. It started with ping pong and then I found a whole suite of simple games that I couldn't get enough of. I have never been much of a gamer but you could say that I graduated from those simple games and I am moving on to the more "advanced" ones.

Windows Updates In Vista Handled Differently

Microsoft has made Windows Updates in Vista 1000 times better than they previously were. The first thing that many of you probably know about is that Windows Updates no longer use Internet Explorer. Opera Decides Not To Enable Anti-Phishing By Default?

Opera has one of the best web browser development teams that I have ever seen. When they release products they are always intuitive, useful, and most importantly stable and secure. A few weeks ago Opera announced that the next release of their desktop browser, version 9.10, was going to have anti-phishing capabilities built-in to protect users from identity theft and fraud.

Vista Is So Secure That It Doesn’t Need An Antivirus

KDE 4 To Run On Windows XP And Maybe A 3D Look?

I didn't realize that it would be possible but KDE 4 will have the ability of running on Windows XP and the Mac OS. The image above is of Kate, an advanced text editor for KDE Linux, running in Windows XP without any problems. Jason sent in a tip to this gallery that has several screenshots from other KDE applications running on Windows XP.

Gmail Gets Some Basic New Features

It has been months since Gmail has gotten any changes but it finally got a minor update. When I saw all of the emails in my Inbox regarding the updated Gmail I was hoping for the best, which would be integration between many of their products. That's not exactly what happened though.
