Amazing Task Manager For Google Calendar…But Not By Google!

One of Google Calendar's biggest downfalls is that they haven't created a task manager. Calendars and task managers always go hand-in-hand so I don't know what is holding Google back from integrating one into their calendar service.

Download OpenOffice.org 2.1 RC1

OpenOffice.org 2.1 RC1 has been released and is calling your name. This new version is scheduled for release in about two-weeks (December 12) and the goal of 2.1 is to support extensions (none have been developed at this point). OpenOffice.org 2.0.4 supported non-code extensions which are more commonly referred to as templates but the "real" extensions should be usable in 2.1.

CyberWare: KeyTweak Lets You Remap Your Windows Keyboard

Sometimes there is a key on your keyboard that just doesn't do what you want it to. Unfortunately you can't configure what each key does without the help of an external application. Thank goodness that the program  needed to change the settings is free and really easy to use.

Cyber Monday Brings Great Deals To Your Fingertips

Today is Cyber Monday and that means it is time for you to get some great deals on the Internet. The Google Blog just announced the special deal that they are doing with select merchants where you can receive $20 off if you purchase more than $50 in products and you pay using Google Checkout. It is undoubtedly a great deal but I was only able to find Buy.com and Starbucks offering that discount.

CyberNotes: World’s Most Expensive Private Jets

The chances of coming across celebrities and the world famous while traveling by air  are getting slimmer as more of these people opt for their own luxury private jet.  Last week we talked about luxury yachts, which are probably owned by the same crowd that own the world's most expensive jets! Prices can run well into the tens of millions with amenities most of us could only dream of, like gold-plated bathroom fixtures, hand-woven carpet, original artwork, etc.

Create Animated GIF’s For Free With Gickr

Gickr is a very creative service because it lets you easily create animated GIF's from any photos in your Flickr account. Actually, it doesn't even have to be from your Flickr account because the animated GIF I put together to the right was done just by searching for "dual monitors" from all of Flickr.

Pinger Goes Way Beyond Voicemail

I'm not sure if you have ever heard of Pinger before but it is an amazing new service that was just started a short while ago. It definitely reminds me of the voicemail feature that most cellphones come with but it goes way beyond that by making it feel more like an email system. You can send, reply, and forward (even to more than one person) a message in a matter of seconds.

Samsung SCH-B600: The 10MP Cameraphone

When people take photos with their cameraphones it is always pretty obvious. The low-quality and often useless photos that result from a cameraphone will hopefully become a thing of the past and maybe even sooner than expected.
