It looks as though YouTube has gotten a small Web 2.0 makeover. As you can see in the before/after comparison above there are fewer tabs and they now have a glossy appearance to them (a.k.a. Web 2.0 style). Not only that but they brought the "Upload" link out of a tab and set it off to the side which makes it more prominent and easier for users
It is hard to believe that Ubuntu is already releasing another milestone but that is pretty much how Linux works...every few weeks there is something new. This version, named Feisty Fawn Herd 1, is just a pre-release to test out some of the new things that will be integrated in Ubuntu 7.04 when it is available in April of 2007. I just love the names that they pick
For awhile I stopped using the Tab Mix Plus Firefox extension because I didn't like the session restore feature that it had and there was a significant memory leak. It was always unfortunate because once the extension was installed it wouldn't let me use the session restore feature that was built-into Firefox 2. That's a thing of the past with the newest version that was just released
According to a press release that I just received via email Hotmail is celebrating its 10th birthday after being founded back in 1996. I'm a Gmail user myself but before the days of Google's email system I was a diehard Hotmail fan. In fact, I remember using Hotmail before Microsoft had even acquired it which was around a year after they launched.

Tutorial Thursday
Emails are no doubt the primary means of communication for many people. It lets people interact with each other at their own pace which particularly comes in handy when the correspondent is located halfway around the world in the opposite timezone. However, with all of the emails that I see, one thing that I don't see often is a nice signature.
