Google Not So Subtle When Advertising Firefox Now

Back in April Firefox made some big news because they were the first third-party program to ever be advertised on Google's homepage. Now it appears that Google is trying to push Firefox 2 by promoting it once again. I'm not able to see this result in my version of Internet Explorer so I hope that this is real.

One of the questions that I receive quite frequently is what new features are expected to be in Firefox 3. Well, I have never seen a set-in-stone list but one thing that I certainly expect to see is the Places that was removed from Firefox 2. That will replace the current bookmark system with one that is more powerful and customizable.

Optimus 103 Back In Color With OLED’s…Pre-orders Delayed Until February

The Optimus blog just announced that the long awaited keyboard will now be back in color and will use OLED's for each of the keys. This news comes about one week after they announced that the keyboard was initially going to be black and white with a pricetag of $1200.

The day for the first milestone of Firefox 3 has already arrived! That's right, Firefox 3 Alpha 1 can be downloaded off of the FTP server but at this time they only have the English version posted. I expect that other languages will be following very shortly so this will be the downloader for those versions, but as of right now only the English-US version is available:
