The pages get cached so the PHP is not executed every time, so that wouldn’t be as effective as it should be.

Ryan, you can find out the load time of the site by the microtime function in php embedded in the template. If you look at my sites you will notice the load time being listed at the bottom.

Gives a rough estimate if something is going wrong, e.g. loaded server, crappy plugin etc.

I clicked on the link you have for site24×7 and I’m not sure if you have a typo or not as it doesn’t connect. I haven’t noticed the load time of the sight being any slower.

Hmm, that’s interesting. I optimized the CSS and everything and it loads in less than 7 seconds for me. The old site took more than 12 seconds to completely load without anything in the cache. I wonder why it is loading slower for you?
