As the New Year shines upon us (about 9 hours away in the United States - Central Time) we thought we should start recapping the events from the year. A few days ago we made a post looking back at the Firefox news but now it is time to broaden the scope a little bit.

It appears that Microsoft is doing even more to help promote the upcoming launch of Windows Vista. Now they are sending out 5,000 Vista Launch Kits that come with all kinds of goodies:
PayPerPost caused quite the buzz, and controversy when it launched back in June because they pay bloggers to write about advertisers' products. Now they're in the news again, acquiring parts of Performancing. Performancing, a blog advertising network, has been one awesome tool for Bloggers to use.
