Are In-Game Ads Successful?

I am still stuck in the days of the original Xbox but one thing that I have noticed over time is that in-game advertising has been increasing. I have never really paid attention to these ads because that is not where my focus is supposed to be.

A Look Back at Firefox in 2006

Mozilla really seemed to step up the game in 2006 when it came to Firefox. With the new release of Firefox 2 they even went as far as to air commercials on television that were created by Firefox fans! It has been an amazing journey following Firefox throughout 2006 and I went through all of our Firefox stories (totaling more than 240) to pick out our favorites.

Download EasyPHP 2.0 Beta 1 to Setup a Windows Website Server

Setting up your own Web server can be a pain when trying to install PHP, MySQL, Apache, and phpMyAdmin. There are several different applications available that try to make doing this easy by installing all of the above for you, and my favorite has always been EasyPHP.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could take your computer with you no matter where you are? If you have a laptop, this isn't so difficult, but when you rely on a desktop computer, this becomes an issue.  It's always nice to have all of the applications that you want, the music that you like, and of course all of your important documents, files, and settings.

AllofMp3.com Sued for $1.65 Trillion!

I haven't been able to find information on the largest lawsuit in history but I'm sure this one is right up at the top. The RIAA (yes, I was just as shocked as you ;) ) is suing the website AllofMP3.com on behalf of EMI, Sony BMG, Universal Music, and Warner Music in the amount of $150,000 for each of the 11 million songs that were downloaded from June to October of 2006.

When will Google Talk Work with AIM?

It was one year ago that Google and AOL announced the possibility of cross-compatibility between their instant messenger clients. They didn't explicitly say in the press release that it was a guaranteed thing and made sure to cover themselves: "" Maybe the whole "" didn't turn out quite like Google had planned. Or maybe Google was concerned that AOL would leak their member's data.
