Opera for Nintendo Wii…I’m Speechless

When Opera announced the other day that they were coming out with a Web browser for the Nintendo Wii I was pretty skeptical about how functional it could be. After all, I have used Web browsers on other devices other than a computer and it can be frustrating when you don't have a mouse and keyboard.

Wikio: Like Digg, but better Features?

So I had never heard of this site Wikio until I started to see a small amount of traffic start to trickle in from it. Like most sites that I see traffic from I went and visited it to see how they were referring people to my site. As soon as you land on their homepage your first thought will probably be that this is just another Digg-ripoff.

Congratulations: CSS Celebrates their 10-Year Anniversary

Yay! Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) are celebrating their 10-year anniversary! It seems like only yesterday that I was being told to design websites using only tables because that was the way to line things up and create professional looking websites.

CyberWare: Project Looking Glass 1.0 Released – Try it yourself!

In early November I referenced Project Looking Glass as an amazing idea for a 3D Operating System created by Sun. Well, a big milestone (version 1) was just released and I have to admit that I am quite amazed with how it works.

CyberNotes: How to Test your Website in nearly all Browsers

The biggest hassle with Web development is that different browsers have a tendency to display sites a little differently. Our site is typically verified in the latest two versions of Firefox, Flock, Opera, and Internet Explorer.

Where Does Firefox 2 Stand on Vista Compatibility

Several months ago I wrote an article about changing the default browser in Windows Vista Beta 2 and what a pain it was for anyone that had the User Account Control (UAC) enabled. While the purpose of the UAC is to protect the computer from hackers the simple task of modifying or installing something can be quite a pain.

We’ve Moved To Completely Full Feeds Now

Over the past two months our feed readers have continued to grow, and as a way of saying thanks to all of the subscribers we have started publishing images within the feed. We have received at least one email a week asking that we place the images in the feed so that users don't have to jump to the site in order to see what we're talking about.

CyberNotes: Trimming Down Firefox For The Holiday Season

Firefox is a truly amazing browser and I think my favorite part about it is that the extensions make it remarkably useful. They add features that I wouldn't expect a Web browser to do, such as serve as an FTP client.
