It's been about a month since Apple unveiled the iPhone to an audience who generally responded with ooo's and aaah's. I'm sure everybody knows by now about Apple's exclusive deal with Cingular to be the sole provider in the United States for iPhone service. They have five years to the iPhone, all to themselves.

The RIAA sued a 16 year old New Yorker for piracy , and now he's fighting back.  That's the story in the a nutshell, but there's so much more to it.

This morning I've been watching videos of the Mandriva Metisse Linux that, in my opinion, puts some amazing 3D features features at your fingertips. All of this XGL and 3D stuff is often shrugged off as merely being eye candy, but there are four video demonstrations that really show the usability that these features can really offer.

I'm sure you've seen Snap previews before. You must have! According to Snap, over 500,000 blogs and websites use this service.  The pop-out previews are meant to be a tool that will give readers the chance to "preview" the sites that you're linking to without having to leave the site.  In the end, it's supposed to save reader's time by helping them decide if they want to click on a link.
